Amicus Brief Filed in “Absolute Immunity” Case
Society members and leadership were a party to this amicus brief filed on December 12, 2023 in the United States Circuit Court for the District of Columbia.
In the matter of United States of America v. Donald J. Trump, the brief argues that the court should reject the defendant’s claim of “absolute immunity” on the grounds that “the last thing presidential immunity should do is embolden Presidents who lose re-election to engage in criminal conduct.”
