Virtual Event – “Supreme Court Term Wrap-Up”
In its just-completed term, the Supreme Court has grappled with several cases with significant rule of law implications. These include former President Trump’s claim of immunity from criminal prosecutions, the scope of the First Amendment in our digital age, and the discretion with which agencies have to make policy.
On July 8, the Society hosted a discussion about the decisions in these and other cases, and what they portend for the future of the Court and the rule of law in America. The panel featured a group of leading practitioners and scholars with an insider’s view of the Court, including Stuart Gerson, Prof. Jonathan Adler, and Gregg Nunziata.
