Statement on the Rule of Law

The Society for the Rule of Law issued the following statement:

While we have deep concerns about the direction the new administration may take over the next four years, we are grateful that America’s 2024 election has been conducted and concluded with integrity and without any significant domestic disruption. We also acknowledge that the American people have spoken with clarity.

During the course of the next Trump administration, the Society for the Rule of Law will continue our dedicated focus on defending democracy, advocating for constitutional checks and balances, and upholding the rule of law regardless of party or person in power.

We encourage conservative and center-right lawyers, legal scholars, law students and other likeminded Americans to join our Society, attend our annual Rule of Law Summit, and travel along with us in helping preserve the Constitution and republic that the Framers bequeathed to us. Those values are bigger than any one election or person.
