Statement on the Killing of Two Israeli Embassy Staff in Washington, D.C.

The Society for the Rule of Law condemns the anti-semitic murders of Sarah Milgrim and Yaron Lischinsky. The Society abhors political violence in all its forms, no matter the purported excuse.

Murder, especially political murder, is the ultimate lawlessness and the embodiment of the evil philosophy that might makes right. These murders deprived two young people dedicated to the service of others of decades of life, love, and marriage.

We grieve for Ms. Milgrim, Mr. Lischinsky, and their families. In their names, we rededicate ourselves to fostering a nation and world where all people are protected by and respectful of the rule of law, and where political violence can never be justified. Never.
