Virtual Event — “Restoring the First Branch”
On Tuesday, October 8 at we hosted an exclusive webinar on Congressional dysfunction and restoration.
The Founders conceived of Congress as the beating heart of the Republic. Designed as the first among equals of the three branches, it has become the sick man of the Constitutional order. Given that a weakened Congress threatens the very foundation of constitutional governance, conservatives and all champions of the rule of law have a vested interest in addressing these issues to preserve limited government and safeguard individual liberties.
This timely virtual discussion covered the crucial role of Congress in America’s constitutional system, the underlying causes of its current dysfunction, and potential pathways for reform. Experts discussed the challenges facing Congress today, and proposed actionable reforms to restore its effectiveness and integrity.
