Virtual Event – “The Presidency”

November 25, 2024

Chief Executive, Head of State, Party Leader—the American President wears many hats, some clearly foreseen by the Framers and others evolving with practice and time. All of these roles, though sometimes in tension with each other, have great consequences for the functioning of our Constitutional system and the preservation of law and liberty. As America prepares to inaugurate its former and next President, considered a norm-breaker by both supporters and critics, leaders and citizens may pause to reflect on what they expect from an occupant of this office of the Presidency.
