Gregg Nunziata in The Washington Post
Executive Director Gregg Nunziata was featured in The Washington Post‘s coverage of Donald Trump’s judicial nominations. Spencer Hsu and Salvador Rizzo write:
A group of former Justice Department and White House lawyers who served in Republican administrations said the department can do great harm if appointees abuse their power. “Appointees must perform the duties of their office consistent with the law, the Constitution, and their oath. No president is entitled to appointees who will serve his or her whim at the expense of those higher commitments,” said Gregg Nunziata, executive director of the Society for the Rule of Law, which was organized during Trump’s first term and formerly known as Checks & Balances.
