Gregg Nunziata in National Journal on the Supreme Court’s “incredibly consequential term”

Gregg Nunziata spoke with National Journal about the Supreme Court’s upcoming term and the far-reaching cases that will test the limits of presidential authority.

“We’ve never seen anything like this, because we’ve never seen a president that does not view himself as meaningfully bound by the law,” Nunziata said. “This administration is testing everything, picking fights that a more prudent administration would just avoid. I think it’s just a massive test for the Court.”

He added that the White House appears to be

“daring [the justices] to draw a line and define the limits,”

calling the term a defining moment for the Court’s credibility and for the balance of power among the branches of government.
